Nick Engler

   Nick Engler has gone through his life as a lover of aviation and woodworking. Now he has found a way to combine these loves into a multi-year obsession. Engler and his team are re-tracing the steps of the Wright Brothers. Over the past few years Engler's team has poured through documents, archives, and photos to reconstruct the Wright's gliders and flyers the way the Wright's did.

   In October 2002, Engler is holding a Wright Regatta at Kitty Hawk, NC. Folks who build an authentic 1902 Wright glider (plans are available on Engler's web site) will compete for a cash prize. At the end of the Regatta, Engler plans on flying their newly constructed Wright Flyer.
